Meet Karen Wilkinson

Karen believes that every woman, regardless of shape or size, deserves great-fitting garments. Her expertise is in providing a fit that makes women feel attractive, confident, and comfortable.
Karen has had a love for fashion since she was a little girl. She was designing and hand sewing dresses for her dolls by the age of seven. Her accomplishments include awards for excellence in sewing and an apprenticeship with a tailor at Joseph’s Boutique in Portland, Maine. She has shown her original designs at fashion shows, altered inaugural ball gowns, and designed and altered wedding dresses. She has altered and tailored garments for several retail establishments including Saks Fifth Avenue where she managed the alteration department for 10 of the 15 years she was employed there.
Karen continues to offer her services in the greater Sarasota area to women who have discovered the secret . . . It’s all about the fit!
